Gobble, gobble! Who’s ready to burn some calories before the big feast?
The Turkey Trot in Manito Park on Thanksgiving Day is the last official run for the 2015 season. The run starts at 9am near the duck pond. Look for the Flying Irish tent in the park near the corner of 18th and Grand to sign in beginning at 7:45am. There are no registration fees, but 2nd Harvest Food Bank will have a truck onsite accepting non-perishable food and cash donations.
Then get ready to party, as next week is the Flying Irish End of Season Party! DJ Marathon will be spinnin’ the tunes, so bring your dancin’ shoes. There will be an optional run for those that want to. We will be giving away a ton of prizes including the grand prize from our November beer sponsor Big Barn Brewery, and the tablet donated by Office Depot. You must be present to win, so make sure to show up. We will also have the Board Elections that night.
Flying Irish New Year’s Eve Party
Last year’s party was so much fun we thought we would bring it back again. Ripples will be hosting the Flying Irish in another epic New Year’s Eve Party. The room package is $99 and includes 2 entries into the party. An online code will be available soon. Reserve early before they sell out!
