Time for a Legacy Run!

We contacted the weather service about last Thursday’s lack of rain and cold and were assured that the “nice” weather we experienced last week was perfectly normal and no cause for alarm.  They also went on to say that this Thursday’s run also looks to be nice and clear which is a good thing since it’s time for another Legacy Run at O’Doherty’s!

That’s right, this Thursday we’re back where it all began at O’Doherty’s for the final Legacy Run of the season.  This week we’ll head down to the river for the River Run, Fleet Feet will have New Balance in the house, and afterwards, jump up on the bar and belt out that milestone joke or song you’ve been saving!  See you at 6:00 PM this Thursday at O’Doherty’s!

Don’t forget to wear your reflective gear and headlamp!

Have you ever had the opportunity to run a race but decided you couldn’t do it because it was too expensive? Or you really want to run your first “X” race and couldn’t pull the trigger on signing up? Well, the Flying Irish Running Club wants to help you get to that starting line with the “FLYING IRISH KEEP ON RUNNING” GRANT!!We will be awarding three Grants this year for a grand total of up to $400 to help our members out in accomplishing the Flying Irish’s mission of promoting an active lifestyle through running. The Flying Irish End of Season Party On December 1st!

Get ready for our big finale on December 1st!  It’s the Flying Irish End of Season Party!  DJ Marathon is back and will be rockin’ the house all night long!  There will be an optional run for those that want to. We will be giving away a ton of prizes including one of our all new Flying Irish metal logo signs and a huge dinner package courtesy of Bonefish Grill!  You must be present to win, so make sure to be there! We will also have the Board Elections that night.

Flying Irish Logo Metal Sign Available for Pre-Order!

Last week we began taking pre-orders on 23 all new Flying Irish metal logo signs and only 4 remain!  The first four people who pre-pay the $45 cost will receive an FI logo sign.  And as an added bonus, we’re giving one away as our end of season grand prize!

Flying Irish New Year’s Eve Party!

We’re bringing it back again!  Ripples will be hosting the Flying Irish in another epic New Year’s Eve Party.  Ripples is offering a $99 hotel package which includes 2 entries to the party.  Individual tickets will be available for $10.  We’ll have more information soon so stay tuned!

The night is dark and full of runners so it’s time to think about visibility as night is coming earlier and earlier.  We’ve got our awesome reflective vests and jackets for sale, so stop by during the run and pick one up!  Be safe, be seen, and be stylish!
