Well that was a week! We hoped you enjoyed the free beer from Ghost Runners Brewery provided by the awesome folks with Spokane To Sandpoint Relay. Also special thanks to Fleet Feet for hosting us. We are back to Ripples for this week’s run (and for the long foreseeable future)!!
We are sure you want to celebrate as well for another great Bloomsday. Wear your Bloomsday shirts at this week’s runs and we will see who has the oldest Bloomsday shirt! And of course, we have the contest of the fastest male/female Bloomsday finisher but you must be present to win!
But we will celebrating something else… 100,000 FLYING IRISH RUNS!!! That’s right, on the 365th run of the Flying Irish, a full year of the Flying Irish, we will accomplish that awesome milestone. With that, the club by itself has now ran to the moon and we are now working on our way back! Pretty crazy! And to commemorate that milestone we got something special for the person who gets us to 100,000 runs. If you show up to the run this week you could be that person!
See you Thursday!

Flying Irish Virgin Slayer
Get your friends to join and win some swag! A lot of you have brought friends and family over the years to the Flying Irish and continue to do so. Well, we want to recognize those who bring the most new members, Virgins, to the Club. Starting at this week’s run, as new members join we will have them put down who referred them. The more times your name is mentioned as the one who referred them provides you with more chances to win the monthly title of Flying Irish Virgin Slayer and of course free stuff. At the end of the year we will announce who the 2015 Flying Irish Virgin Slayer is. Let the slaying begin!
4K for Cancer
Thanks to all those who helped Allison Perrine at last week’s run write all the chalk messages of encouragement. We know she is very grateful for the support as she will be biking 4,000 miles across America to raise money and awareness for young adults with cancer.

Volunteers Needed
We started up our volunteer program last year so that the Flying Irish can help serve the Spokane athletic community that has given back to us in so many ways. There are a few events that are coming up that need volunteers and also events that we will have a presence at that will also need volunteers. The following list of dates are ones that we have coming up. If you are interested in volunteering please email Cassie, our Volunteer Coordinator, with your details at volunteercoordinator@flyingirish.org
Note: By unsubscribing you are relinquishing all rights to receive required notices as identified in the Bylaws of the Flying Irish Running Club.
