We had such a fun time at last week’s Legacy Run we are doing it all over again for another week! We go back to where to it all started with a Legacy Run at O’Doherty’s Irish Grille. There was only one keg of the new Flying Irish brew… Flying Irish Snow Stomper by Iron Goat Brewing Co. and we went through it in 30 minutes. This week there will be two kegs of it so no need to worry about that!!.
We announced last week what the end of year prize is going to be. Well, there is actually two of them. One from Red Lion and one from us. Red Lion will be throwing in hotel stay vouchers good for any of their hotels while we will be throwing in $400 worth of Southwest Airlines tickets. Plus a whole lot of other prizes! December 4th is the date for the party! But hurry up and get those Flying Irish Grant Applications in! The applications are due this Thursday! Read further down below to get further details.
Also, the 50-run sweatshirts are in so if you were waiting for one this is your week (most likely) to pick one up. We will be doing orders of the singlets (just a few left) and the tech hats in the spring.

2014 Flying Irish Grant
Have you ever had the opportunity to run a race but decided you couldn’t do it because it was too expensive? Or you really want to run your first X race and couldn’t pull the trigger on signing up? Well, the Flying Irish Running Club wants to help you get to that starting line with the first ever “FLYING IRISH KEEP ON RUNNING” GRANT!!We will be awarding three Grants this years for a grand total of up to $400 to help our members out in accomplishing the Flying Irish’s mission of promoting an active lifestyle through running. What you need to do to apply for the Grant is follow the link below and download the application. Deadline for the submission of applications is November 13th. We love seeing photos of our members. We love seeing photos of our members wearing their Flying Irish shirts even more! Why not encourage that even more and also give our members a chance to win something as well? To that we created the Flying Irish Running Club Photo Contest!
